Oris watches have been known for a long time now to be Swiss watches that are beautifully crafted. Oris might not be as well known as the other Swiss brands but nonetheless they are not any lesser in quality and you get some really beautiful watches that any owner would be proud of.
I had bought one of the Oris watches a long time ago and although it was my first Swiss watch and I have bought many Swiss watches thereafter, I never really tire of my Oris and still wear it pretty often and admire its elegant yet simple design.
Although Oris watches normally used to follow the more conventional forms of watch design, Oris hasrecently made an effort to provide the consumers with more contemporary watch designs and more so in the area of sports watches. Oris started making sports watches only a few decades back and their first one was the Oris Chronoris which is still being produced today, the Chronoris 2005 being its most recent model. It comes in a simple design which uses steel and comes with a saddle leather strap in black and orange emphasizing the sportiness of the watch.
Yet another range of sports watches provided by Oris are the TT1 collection. These Oris watches come with mechanical automatic movement along with concurrent indication of two individual time zones. It also gives you the date display at the 3 o’clock place and has a black dial with luminous display, a curved sapphire glass which is scratch proof and resists water to up to 100 meters. In this series, I have found the Oris TT1 Worldtimer to be the best.
